🐾 10 Secrets About Cats
(From Us Kittens!)

Hello, human!
We’re the foster kittens currently exploring our new world and we thought we’d share a few secrets about cats like us.

You might think you know us, but we’ve got some surprises up our fluffy sleeves (okay… paws).

1. Our whiskers are rulers.

See these long whiskers? They’re not just for looks! They help us measure whether we can fit into small spaces. If our whiskers fit, usually the rest of us will too. (That’s why we sometimes get stuck — oops.)

2. We don’t just purr when we’re happy.

Yes, we purr when we’re cozy in your lap… but we also purr when we’re nervous, or even when we’re healing. It’s like our built-in superpower to comfort ourselves.

3. We sleep… a LOT.

Don’t be fooled — playing with string takes energy! Adult cats can snooze up to 16 hours a day. We’re still learning, but napping is already one of our favorite hobbies.

4. Our tails speak a secret language.

If you see our tails standing tall, that means we’re happy to see you. If they puff up like bottle brushes, well… maybe we saw something scary (or the vacuum cleaner).

5. We have a built-in GPS.

Cats are really good at finding their way home. Even though we’re tiny, our wild cousins have a strong sense of direction. Pretty cool, huh?.

6. We’re tiny hunters at heart.

Even when we chase toys, we’re practicing real hunting moves — stalking, pouncing, and kicking. Don’t worry though, your toes are safe… most of the time.

7. Our noses are as unique as fingerprints.

Every cat nose has a special pattern of bumps and ridges. That means no two kitty noses are exactly alike. We’re original masterpieces!

8. We groom each other to say “I love you.”

When we lick each other’s fur, it’s not just about staying clean. It’s our way of bonding and showing affection. (So if we groom you with a few licks, take it as a compliment!)

9. We make biscuits because we’re nostalgic.

That kneading we do with our paws? It comes from kittenhood, when we pressed against our mom’s belly to help milk flow. It makes us feel safe and happy — like going back to our baby days.

10. We chose YOU.

Here’s the biggest secret: cats may act independent, but we get attached. When we curl up next to you or follow you around, it’s our way of saying, “You’re part of our family now.” 🐾

So there you have it
-ten little secrets about cats, straight from us.

Thanks for giving us a cozy place to learn, nap, and grow. We may be tiny, but we’ve got big love for the humans who care for us.
